Managing Director
Tabitha Pederson is elated to be a member of Blindfaith
Theatre. Tabitha holds a BA degree in marketing and management from
Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. She has worked behind
the scenes in many productions as set construction crew, lighting technician,
props master and stage manager. In addition to her duties as Managing
Director of Blindfaith Theatre, Tabitha also acts as the company's
resident head stage manager. She most recently stage managed Blindfaith’s Alice
In Wonderland and both productions of Gorey Stories.
Prior to that Tabitha was generously granted the title of Production
Manager for Streamers and stage-managed A Bright Room
Called Day with Blindfaith.
Organizational Development
Jennifer couldn't be happier about being a company member of Blindfaith
Theatre. Before making this fine city her new home she received her
B.F.A degree in theatre from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts,
where her favorite roles include Puck in A Midsummer Night's
Dream, Natasha in Three Sisters and Estelle in No
Exit. Since meeting her new family at Blindfaith, she played the
White Queen in their twisted version of Alice In Wonderland and
was in both productions of Gorey Stories. Most recently, she
was seen as The Governess in the Hypocrites’ production of Leonce
and Lena.
Artistic Director
Nick is the Artistic Director and co-founder of Blindfaith Theatre.
He studied and worked professionally at the Pacific Conservatory of
the Performing Arts (PCPA Theatrefest) on the Central Coast of California.
He received a BFA in Theatre Performance from Roosevelt University
in Chicago where he had the pleasure of assistant directing the cross-cultural
production of the Kyogen Lysistrata. With Blindfaith Theatre,
Nick has directed Romeo and Juliet, Reckless, A
Bright Room Called Day, Streamers. Gorey Stories, Alice In Wonderland and Seagirl. Other
favorite directing credits include Love’s Labor’s Lost , The
Two Gentlemen of Verona, Lewis and Clark: A Journey to the Sun , Zoo
Story and Our Town . A professional actor, Nick’s
favorite roles include, Leontes in The Winter's Tale,
Clown in The Winter’s Tale, Brother in 1918,
Man Going Back in The Grapes of Wrath, Steward in Into
The Woods and Cinna the Conspirator in Julius Caesar.
Nick is also the Producing Director of Youth Theatre Workshop with
the Duncan YMCA Chernin Center for the Arts.
Associate Artistic Director
Pedra is proud to be a founding member of Blindfaith Theatre. Pedra
is a graduate of the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts (PCPA
Theatrefest) where she played such roles as Clara in Hay Fever,
Rhea in You Can't Take It With You and Doris in Damn Yankees.
She received a BFA in theatre performance from Roosevelt University
in Chicago where she played Dorine in Tartuffe and Lampito
in the cross-cultural Kyogen Lysistrata. With Blindfaith,
Pedra has appeared as Nurse / Balthazar / Apothecary in Romeo and Juliet, Pooty
in Reckless, Agnes in A Bright Room Called Day, Mary
Rosemarsh in both productions of Gorey Stories and the Red
Queen in Alice in Wonderland. Other favorite roles include
Akmatova in Akmatova and Adriana in The Comedy of Errors. Pedra
has also designed costumes and props for Blindfaith’s productions
of Streamers and Seagirl.
Associate Artistic Director
Brent is proud to be a founding member of Blindfaith Theatre. A Springfield,
Illinois native, Brent moved to Chicago where he received a BFA in
theatre performance from Roosevelt University. With Blindfaith, Brent
has played such roles as Mercutio and Lord Capulet in Romeo and
Juliet, Baz in A Bright Room Called Day, Tim Timko in Reckless,
the Caterpillar and the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland and
Harold in both productions of Gorey Stories. Other favorite
roles include Voltaire in Candide, Dennis in Loot and
the Heike Husband in the cross-cultural production of the Kyogen
Lysistrata adapted by June Compton. Offstage, he recently completed
set design for Blindfaith's Streamers and Seagirl. He continues
to design most of the company's printed marketing materials.
