 A macabre journey through the delightfully gothic land of Edward Gorey--a twisty, ruined  landscape where the sun never shines, life is fragile, and dead people are funny. This winding  evening of musical entertainment is derived from some of Edward Gorey's most popular (and  most twisted) stories of, what he liked to refer to as, "everyday life." This Chicago artist's  picture stories, frequently and hilariously depicting children and other hapless victims falling  into sudden and undeserved death, have gained him a worldwide cult following. This is Mr.  Gorey's deliciously creepy pen and ink world brought to life…and death.
