A silly satire for anyone who ever loved a British comedy,
LORD BUTTERSCOTCH AND THE CURSE OF THE DARKWATER PHANTOM
is the new treatlet from Chicago’s own internationally renowned playwrights Lisa Dillman, Rebecca Gilman and Brett Neveu. Written on a whim in a round robin style and inspired by a piece of butterscotch candy, LORD BUTTERSCOTCH AND THE CURSE OF THE DARKWATER PHANTOM is the first ever full-length collaboration of these three playwrights.

Mistaken identity, family secrets, a lost fortune and mutton puffs pepper this wildly costumed Piccadilly-drama. Be ready to be served up a dose of ‘what-ho’ as well as a slab of ‘pip-pip’ by the random lords and randy ladies of this hilarious spoof of all things British.
